In-hours & After-hours Care
Our after-hours care is designed to offer you a solution for any unexpected illness or injury when your regular GP is not available or the Medical Practice is closed. For routine consultations, we encourage patients to see their own GP during surgery hours.
If you or your family become ill, suffer injury or deterioration in your condition out of hours, do not hesitate to seek our assistance.
A focus of our service is to alleviate non-urgent use of hospital emergency departments. We also encourage everyone to find a regular GP that they can see for ongoing health care. This regular GP should always be their first contact in times of medical need unless they are closed or unavailable.
If you are in need of medical assistance during surgery hours, all requests for a doctor to visit you at home must be arranged by your Medical Practice on your behalf (if your GP is a member of our Deputising Service). If unsure, telephone your Medical Practice and ask if they have an arrangement in place for daytime home visits. They will be able to advise you if they are a member of our service or not.
If your condition could in any way be life threatening, please call 000 immediately.
